Do you Want the Baby to Die?

I read of a horrendous story of a stolen car and a baby’s death. The mother stepped out of the car for just a moment, and a young thief took the chance to slip into the driver’s seat and tear away, unaware of the 11-month old baby in the back seat.

With the distraught mother immediately on the phone to the police passers by thought that it was going to be a simple matter of a chase, capture and rescue. But as the minutes dragged on, in the heat of a summer’s afternoon, the welfare of the baby became of absolute concern.

Several hours into the ordeal an abandoned black BMW was found with doors closed, and sadly, a dead infant inside. No assailant was located! The mother was inconsolable, unable to stop thinking of the horrendous death of her precious offspring.

What would you have done if you had come across that black car with a baby screaming inside? Smash the window or just walk on?

Every day we face a similar test. To rescue the baby the window needed to be smashed! Likewise, to accept God’s will, ours needs to be sacrificed, and maybe another life will be rescued for eternity!

God said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me.” John 14:6

TODAY, smash the window…let God’s will become your life!
