“I’m not playing this game anymore,” declared the child loudly. “You just don’t
play fair!” The ten year old stomped to the other side of the room looking for
something else to do, with the rest of the class watching every step.
The teacher tried hard to not have favourites, but it was really difficult when
most of the class was on-task and cooperative. But David always seemed to be
whining and complaining about things not being fair!
He always seemed to push the boundaries! Often felt ripped off in situations!
Does God work fairly? Or do you ever feel ripped off by a God that seems to
favour others over you?
Today, I ask you to read this text and ask Him to guide you to a better
understanding of what He is trying to say. What does it say about God? And about
you?
“The good man does not escape troubles – he has them too. But the Lord helps him
in each and every one.” Psalms 34:19
Is that fair? Are you ripped off? Or is God trying to teach you something?
