Thoughts on Light

My daughter bought me a candle that was both gold and silver. This was a very pretty candle and I didn't know if I wanted to light it or not. But I lit the candle before I sat to rest. As I looked over at the candle, the gold and silver gleamed, it was a beautiful sight to see.

Sitting there, I thought about being pretty on the outside just like this candle. But it is when we accept Jesus that His light shines forth beautifully from us to the lost and dying world.

We accept Jesus as our Lord and let His love shine forth from us. It should be our desire to shine beautifully just like this candle does.

Now when I pray and I ask our Lord to melt me, mold me, fill me, and use me. I so want His light to shine beautifully from me to others.

As the candle glowed the beauty only enhanced itself. When we walk with Jesus His beauty in us enhances itself in us when we let go and let Him shine forth.
