I’d Rather Be A Servant

I’d rather be a servant in my Father’s house, than a ruler in Satan’s domain;

I would never hand over my eternal soul for the world's riches and fame.

How can anyone ever prefer what Satan has to offer;

I want to be caught up when Christ comes back to collect His sons and daughters.

I’d rather be a foot-soldier in the army of God, being all that He wants me to be;

Than to be Satan’s general for even one second, no matter what he promises me.

What matter if you gain the world but lose your eternal soul;

That’s exactly what will happen to you, if Satan takes control.

Heaven or Hell which shall it be ... the choice is yours to make.

God gives you His undying love, while Satan just takes and takes.

I’d rather be a servant in my Father’s house, than be a ruler in Satan’s domain;

I have washed myself in the Living Water, I am Christ's to claim.
