John 3:16

He was of this world and with anyone he could hold his own;

But he knew something was missing for he felt so all alone.

He was a long time coming to the Lord, one of the toughest I had ever seen;

But praise the Lord he finally realized the he was no match for John 3:16.

There was an emptiness inside that he was always trying to fill;

With anything he could get his hands on ... alcohol, drugs and pills.

He tried it all and came up short, nothing mattered or so it seemed;

That’s when he finally decided to try John 3:16.

You can go along with the world and lose it all;

Or listen for Jesus when He gives you the call.

All sinners take notice, God will wipe your slate clean;

All you have to do is accept ... John 3:16.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
