Greetings in Jesus Name!
At the outset I wish to thank you for your burden for praying for my mother. The
e-mails you sent were received and read by her with great joy and she was really
touched that people she had never seen or met were burdened to for pray for her.
It is with sorrow that I am informing you that she passed away on Tuesday 20th
June 2000. But it gives me immense joy to also inform you that exactly a week
before she passed away, i.e., on 13th June 2000, she accepted Jesus Christ as
her Lord and Saviour and is now resting in eternal peace and glory. It is really
awesome that at the age of 82, she gave up her pagan worship to fire gods and
accepted the Living God.
I have no doubt whatsoever that this has come to pass by the power of prayer.
She had cancer of the stomach but she had no pain, she had six sittings of chemo
and had no side effects, such as loss of hair, nausea or any other adverse
effects associated with chemotherapy. It was the grace and mercy of Our Lord
that shone upon her thanks to your prayers. I praise Our Lord and Saviour for
HIS immeasurable kindness and mercy. HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED AND MAY HIS HOLY
NAME BE GLORIFIED FOREVER.
I humbly request you to pray for the salvation of all the members of my family
and my Parsee community in particular. You may be alarmed and surprised to know
that there are only 30 or so “Born Again” Parsees in the world. There are
thousands of Parsees like my mother who do not have “Born Again” children,
relatives or friends to pray for their salvation and they are headed for the
eternal doom in the very fires that they worship. Your prayers are solicited to
save them from eternal damnation. (There is a website on the Parsees
www.unreached.org that you might like to check out.
Thank you once again for your prayers and may OUR LORD bless you and yours.
Yours in Christ.
