"As for myself, I have some terrific news. As you know, my mother-in-law will be
coming to live near us, and we needed a bigger house. Last year there was a
house similar to ours that was listed for months and months without ever being
sold. But we decided to give this concern to God to take care of, and we didn't
worry about it.
Well, we put our house on the market on Sunday, and on Tuesday, a young couple
drove by slowly, obviously inspecting the house. I answered a few questions they
had, and on Wednesday they came by with their real estate agent for a tour. They
were in the house for an hour and a half, and by the end of the day they had
drawn up an offer. We received the offer this morning (Thursday), and by noon it
was finalized and accepted. A real miracle. Thank you God for taking care of
your children! Here is a letter my wife wrote to one of her brothers:
"Our house has been on the market for exactly 4 days, and it's sold! We got the
offer this morning and accepted it as it was. There are conditions on financing,
but that's all! Wow. I can't believe that it went this fast.
Even in this sellers market, nothing is moving in 4 days! Normally it takes a
month or two. The closest we saw was 3 weeks. There's only one explanation. I
believe this is the right thing we're doing. God has his hand in this, both for
mom selling her motor home, and for us selling our house. I firmly believe that
God will give us the strength and ability to handle whatever trials this move
brings. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord!!"
