Believing Involves Overcoming Evil With Good

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."Rom. 12:21

A famous missionary, Christy Wilson, experienced fierce opposition in Afghanistan from the Islamic authorities during the seventies. However, just before harvest, a massive snail population explosion threatened the nation with severe crop damage. Sufficient quantities of poison could not be obtained in time to save thousands of tons of grain still in the fields. Then God gave Christy Wilson a brilliant idea. Perhaps his specially imported ducks could be distributed to farms as a feasibility test to see if they could naturally eradicate the snail problem. Desperate to try any solution, the agricultural authorities issued permission.

Within weeks visible proof of the ducks effectiveness became evident to all. Thousands of ducks were dispersed throughout the whole country. The nation was saved from a large scale famine through the missionary's ducks. Soon, the missionary was given special commendation from the President granting special powers to conduct his ministry without hindrance. God used the missionary's good will to overcome a hostile people, environment, and circumstance.

THE FORCES OF GOOD, LOVE, & SERVICE ARE ALWAYS GREATER THAN EVIL.

"Prayer © Lord grant us the conviction that good, love, & service will always triumph over the forces of darkness.
