I was
driving around looking at Christmas lights and all the decorations;
But everywhere I looked, Christ did not get any recognition.
Inflatable snowmen, Santa Claus, reindeer...I even saw a forest
ranger;
Try as I did, I could not spot a single scene in a manger.
Inflatables popping up and down, some waving
hello;
I wonder how Jesus feels, as He looks down on earth below.
There was Tony the Tiger, now what does he have to do with
Christmas;
I saw a penguin and an igloo...I think the whole point has been
missed.
Father forgive them, for they seem to have forgotten You;
Help us to show them the way, and what is really true.
Oh holy was the night when You sent down Your precious Son;
Inflatable snowmen and Santa Clauses everywhere...Lord, what have we
done.
