"Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." Psalm 139:7-10
They attach themselves everywhere. They hang on tight
and they’re hard to get rid of. Never have been able to figure out exactly what
kind of cocoons they are, but pretty sure it’s some kind of fly or moth although
I’ve never seen evidence. Usually they are found on the stucco wall, however
could be on plants or just nearly anything that doesn't move.
One of the most beautiful and wonderful attributes of
our God is his faithfulness and his integrity to who He is. He will never leave
us, will always be there for us and help us.
Woven into the words in Psalm 139 is the question
where can I be that you are not, God? Regardless of where you are, no matter
when that is, GOD is with you. What a mind-boggling, awesome brief four verses
to remind of us this forever truth, that God is ‘stuck on us’ and He is
everywhere.
That is good news.
