My Child  whom I Love

My child whom I love if you could only see within my heart
You would see first of all my love for you.
It surrounds, overflows, floods, and still remains full of you.
It causes me joy, happiness, strength, courage, survival, hope, faith,
but also pain, sadness, sorrow, despair, hurt and discouragement
My love for you.

Sometimes it is such sweet victory, being so full of love for you.
Sometimes it is such a heart breaking hurt when I see you go through the things so hurtful to you.
Oh my child, could I walk through your hurt, your pain for you, I would gladly take your place.
But you and only you can walk your journey through this life-and grow as you go.
Being pruned, sometimes cut down, dying out and then being grafted in,
planted deep to grow again into the wonderful, generous, loving and loyal
person you are of whom I am so proud to say
You are my child whom I love.

My child whom I love,
Did I see you today when you were tempted and failed to overcome?
Yes! I saw you and I wished for you to have that battle overcome and won.
My child whom I love,
Did I hear you when you said, how stupid can I be?  Lord forgive me please
for I know that this you did see.
Did I know and feel the hurt, the despair you felt as you got up  and
questioned why?  Why can't I be strong and never fail you Lord you prayed?
Why?

My child whom I love did I pray the Father to forgive?  Praying Father they
will try again and again and finally overcome each temptation one by one.
Did I say Father forgive them and know that the blood covers now that spot
and every spot.  It is clean, gone is the sinand the memories of it. Gone
into the sea of forgetfulness to be remembered against them more.
Yes I did see!
Yes I did hear!
Yes I did know!
Yes I did pray!
and
Yes We did forgive!
Why my child?
Because we love you with an everlasting love recorded in John 3:16 KJV
"For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son" ...me--for you!
