.
So I had a splinter in my toe on Saturday. I
pulled out a big piece of wood that day and thought that was the end of it.
It still hurt and got worse by Monday. Tues and
Wed it felt like bees were stinging it every step I took.
I was then talking with someone at work. She's
very spiritual but not Christian. In the conversation I said how God wants
us to ask Him for stuff because we are his children and he wants to make us
happy - the Prayer of Jabez.
I then thought - hey, I haven't asked God to help
me with my foot. So I prayed in earnest that day and before I went to sleep
about it.
Today (Fri), I woke up 1 hr early for some reason,
took the bandaid off in bed, and found a perfectly placed piece of wood
deposited in the white part of the bandaid.
I didn't know what I was looking at, at first and then realized the miracle
that just happened. Well it wasn't in the same league as Lazarus, but it was
great to me.
Let me explain that before I went to bed that the skin had already covered
up the previous hole and was growing back. But in the morning, there was a
perfect slit where the piece of wood was pushed out. I woke up my Wife and
showed her, and she was amazed as well. She even apologized for calling me a
baby, because I was saying that it hurt before.
Well later that day, on the way home from work, it
was still hurting abit, so I prayed some more - asking God to help out if
any more complications. I came home and showed Liz the cut. She said it was
better but wanted a closer look, and to clean it. Well didn't she find
another speck of wood in there, that was still agitating me. We got tweezers
and she picked it out.
Here's a pic of what I found in the bandaid.
Praise Jesus!
