I Pray For You

I pray for you the Lord's rest,

when you are tired from the day.

I pray for you the Lord's peace,

when you grow fretful along the way.

I pray for you the Lord's wisdom,

for the decisions that you face.

I pray for you the Lord's strength,

when you're too weak to run the race.

I pray for you the Lord's grace,

when you feel unworthy and low.

I pray for you the Lord's mercy,

to be with you wherever you go.

I pray for you the Lord's comfort,

when a task overwehelms you.

I pray for you the Lord's joy,

when you need refreshing anew.

I pray for you the Lord's favor,

when you make your request known.

I pray for you the Lord's promises,

when you feel abandoned and alone.

I pray for you because I care.

I pray for you for I've known despair.

And if you ever wonder what to do...

Be reassured to know, I pray for you.
