Hope Lives

Hope rises higher than the skies,

Soaring as the eagle flies;

Chasing all of our distant dreams

Above the mountains, fields, and streams.

Hope is an anchor for our soul.

Without it, we'd be less than whole.

But with it, we can do all things

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and King.

Hope is a Heavenly treasure,

A gift from God above;

The helmet of our salvation

Inspired by His faith and love.

Even though we've never seen it,

We are prisoners of it, still.

It leads us to be patient

Until it is ready to fulfill.

New hope abounds in joy and peace

Through the scriptures we have read,

As the Savior keeps our hopes alive

And our faith from growing dead.
