She ran through the
flowered meadow,
Her golden hair flying in every direction.
She danced and sang--a song she did not know.
Yet the words came clearly and beautifully.
She jumped into the air so gracefully
Completely unaware of her surroundings.
Light as a leaf that flies through the air,
She jumps and dances without a care.
Her blue eyes sparkle with a special light.
Her smile is wide--almost a laugh.
Oh yes, today she asked Jesus into her life.
The weight that had seemed to hold her down was gone.
She felt alive, and was rejoicing in the Lord.
As she skipped and danced, she would laugh out loud
Her laughter came easily now and felt so good.
All her life she had known there was something else
That something was someone, Jesus, and she felt His love.
This was real, there was no doubt in her mind.
The feeling of peace seemed to fill her when she ran;
No longer running away but running to her Lord.
She would throw her head back and thank Him,
Thank Him for loving her and not giving up on her.
She had found her true love and she knew that He was with her.
For always.
Psalms 28:7 "My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song."
