No One loves me

No One Loves Me

Car in an accident

I have been quite surprised to find people who declare they are Christians but doubt our Heavenly Father’s love for them. If we doubt our Heavenly Father's love, it is like accusing Him of being a liar; but there is only one liar: "He (The devil) was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for the is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the Father of liar." (John 8:44b, NIV).

Instead, Jesus boldly declared: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13, NIV).

Who among us has ever given their own life to save someone? Who has given their life to save…you? No one? Are you sure? Is it possible that you have simply forgotten? That would be truly sad, because there IS Someone who cares about you enough to give up His life so that you can live.

"Who is this?" You ask? "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, NIV). Our Heavenly Father showed his love to you by giving His own Son to die on a lonely cross so that you can spend eternity with Him. You are so important to Him that He wants you to be with Him for eternity! That’s how genuinely He loves you! Oh, and by the way, He would have died just for you.

There is always the possibility that human beings might not love us. Humans do not always act like the One who loves you the most. Unlike these, however, our Heavenly Father will never abandon you. You are THAT important to Him. He will ALWAYS stand by you, and you will NEVER be alone. Here is what God says to you personally: "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble out hardship our persecution our famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: 'For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' No in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present not the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8: 35-39, NIV)

No matter what your circumstances, our Father is standing by you. Even on your death bed, He is there with you. He holds you in His arms when you are completely alone. He loves you immeasurably.

"But I have done terrible things, things I am ashamed of!"

The following promise is ice-cream on the cake: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." (Romans 8:1, NIV)

When I was young, I was ridiculed at school. My glasses made me look like a monster, and my classmates laughed at me. I never felt alone, however, for my Heavenly Father was always with me. I have forgiven them, for although they mocked me, I know my Heavenly Dad loves me. That was way better than anything else on earth. "My Heavenly Father loves me. Wow!"

And He loves you too!
